Kia GT Concept is the latest concept car from Kia that will make the debut at upcoming 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show this month. This car worked at the Kia studio at Frankrut under direction of head designer, Peter Schreyer.

Come in sedan form, with rear-wheel drive and four-door, the design itself give the strong sport character with elegance style. The engine issued will powered with V6 turbo engine, but Kia not yet release the official detail from this car. kia also said that this car will be the preview of newest car for German market.

“But it is now important for us to improve our brand power. Concepts like these will help a lot with that. But we are prepared to take our time. We will test plenty of ideas before we make any decisions about production.” Kia’s vice chairman and CEO, Hank Lee, as reported by Autocar. Not yet official specs from Kia about this car, hopes Kia will release something detail about this Kia GT Concept at Frankfurt.

Hyundai will comes to the Frankfurt Motor Show 2011 with their second generation of its i30, 2012 Hyundai i30 that will go to sale in Europe in Spring of 2012, also in Australia in mid 2012.

Featured with new design, to chalenge other car like Ford Focus and VW Golf, including a large, almost hexagonal, grille layout with a darkened central bar across the middle. Not only new design, but also featured with new features that the first time Hyundai use it for Hyundai car of this size, a knee airbag for the driver, adaptive headlights, instruments with a high-resolution TFT LCD display and an electric parking brake.

For the engine, Hyundai equipped with two option engine CRDi turbo diesels and two direct-injection gasoline, to displacement of 1.4-liters and 1.6-liters engine. All engine equipped with six-speed manual transmission, while the stronger engine will paired with six-speed automatic transmission as optional. Like the predecessor, this car also designed and engineered at Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany. No information about the price of this car.

Alpina B6 Bi-Turbo Cabrio, the latest project from Alpina that build from BMW 6-Series convertible. B6 Bi-Turbo Cabrio will make debut at upcoming Frankfurt auto show 2011 that will held on September 13. Under the hood, powered with modified 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that able to produce up to 507 horsepower with 700Nm of torque. Compared with the most powerful 6-Series convertible today, BMW 650i Convertible, that equippe with 4.4-liter turbo V8, only produce 407 horsepower and 600Nm of torque. B6, no doubt, become more powerfull from the most powerful 6-Series convertible up to 100 horsepower.

For the 650i Convertible, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h reach 5.0 seconds, while the top speed reach 250 km/h and the average fuel consumption of 10.7lt/100km.

Audi has revealed their new car, 2013 Audi S8 4.0T, that will available on market start in the spring of 2012 with his brother, Audi S6. This car also will make debut at Frankfurt Motor Show 2011 this month. Improvements come on the engine section that now just used 4-cylinder, that also can decrease the fuel consumption up to 23 percent become 13.2 liters per 100 km / 17.8mpg US. This new engine also gives more power up to 70 horsepower compared from previous engine on S8, 5.2-liter V10 engine.

Toyota has been chosen to be the first Japanese vehicle for Pace Car at DAYTONA 500 with their new car, 2012 Toyota Camry, that will make debut at February 26 at the Daytona International Speedway to be the DAYTONA pace car. Not only the first, toyota also number 2 for non-American model since this event started in 1959 for pace car.

The DAYTONA 500 has been started since 1959. In ’59, the first car that become pace car is Pontiac Bonneville Convertible. Bonneville Convertible also become pace car again in 1961, while in ’60, Buick Convertible has been chosen to be pace car. The most succesfull brand that contribute for pace car is Pontiac with Pontiac LeMans that consecutive for 32 years, from 1972 until 2003.

The important update come in the engine that used EU5 2.2-litre diesel engine to replace previous engine of EU4 2.4-litre diesel. This new engine can make the acceleration for this 2012 Land Rover from 0 to 60 mph in 14.7 seconds, and can reach the top speed up to 90 mph. From this engine, delivers 122PS@3,500 rpm and 360Nm@2,000rpm and paired with GFT MT 82 six-speed gearbox to gives the excellent ratio spread, high top gear for cruising and enhanced low-speed crawl capability.
